Dementia Care
Music therapy has been proven to decrease the anxiety, apathy, depression and social isolation that many people with dementia experience. Engaging in active music-making can improve thinking, mood, behaviour and perception. In a group context, music-making can create a sense of community by enabling and empowering people to relate and connect with those around them.
SEN Schools
Music therapy can address emotional and sensory difficulties for pupils with complex needs as well as providing a safe space for self-expression. Music-making can have a positive impact on communication, interaction, behaviour, motor skills, attention and overall well-being of people with learning disabilities and Autism.
